This Straw Bale house has been made with utmost care and the attention to little things can be seen. As Roseline the owner of the cottage was away, we met Richard who helped us check into this pad of tranquillity. Richard who built the cottage himself happily showed us around.

The kitchen was well stocked, and it made cooking thoroughly enjoyable here. Also, the farm fresh milk in the fridge was a bonus.

The living room has a comfortable couch, a dining table for two near the kitchen and some board games and books, the best part? A lovely fireplace. All of this makes it perfectly dreamy.

The bedroom is cosy, and the bath tub is inside the bedroom. There is a big French door from the bedroom that leads to the little terrace with chairs and a small barbeque. The view from the terrace is splendid, and I recommend seeing the sunset from here, perfection is the word.
This property has been one of my best finds, and no pictures or description do justice, the lush green surroundings and the warm firewood had me mesmerised, it is away from the hustle-bustle of the city and yet just a few miles away from it.
How I wish this were Hotel California so I could never leave. But then we’ve got to make more incredible journeys along the way.

What’s Hot? The location, The attention to detail in the house, views from the terrace

What’s Not? The wifi is slow, No credit card accepted
