Delhi has new reasons to visit it’s Favorite Tea Cafe – Cha Bar!
Located in the heart of the City – Connaught place, Inside the ever popular Oxford Bookstore Cha Bar, has been spoiling Tea lovers with its expansive menu of over 150 varieties of tea and delicious grub. Now there’s more fun with some great new additions to the food menu. Chef Abhishek Basu has carefully created these delicacies, and I was fortunate to have grabbed my share.
Aptly called Flavothon the new menu has additions like Erachi Patri, Cheese Sigaras, Dahi Bhalle, flury’s Chocolate Balls, Gulab Jamun Cheesecake Pineapple Colada muffins and so on, aren’t you tempted already?. The menu is quirky and yet retains some great classics.
My high tea was rather indulgent with second helpings of the Turkish Sigaras and Chocolate boats which are the perfect accompaniment to a hot cuppa.
I am heading out to Cha Bar again for a lovely new book alongside a helping of Gulab Jamun Cheesecake and to wash away the sugary guilt an oolong tea!
